International Six Sigma Institute and Secret Society for Imperious Professionals of Process Improvement
No-Cost Black Belt Certification Now Available to All
ISSISSIPPI's Wonder Fun Activity Book makes Lean Six Sigma Certification accessible, engaging, and best of all — crayon-powered.
April 1, 2010 | Columbus, Ohio — The International Six Sigma Institute and Secret Society for Imperious Professionals of Process Improvement (ISSISSIPPI) has once again revolutionized Lean Six Sigma certification standards. Ditch the time-consuming exams and project evaluations—now, you can self-certify with the Lean Six Sigma WonderFun Activity Book, an innovative approach that delivers all the prestige of certification with none of the hassle.
Developed after extensive (days-long) research, the WonderFun Activity Book distills the core principles of Lean Six Sigma into a fun, hands-on experience. Candidates will master essential skills like process naming, color coding, way-finding, and process fixing—all through interactive exercises that engage real critical thinking (or at least some thinking).
And the best part? It's FREE — at least for all qualified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt candidates (qualifications TBD). However, completion requires a special ISSISSIPPI-certified crayon, available for the reasonable price of $8,000.
"We looked at existing programs and found requirements ranging from pretend projects to fourth-grade math tests. Some were even as simple as signing a credit card slip! It was all very confusing and, frankly, way too expensive," said ISSISSIPPI CEO Zoltan Minsky. "So we made things simpler—now, if you can stay inside the lines, you're practically a Master Black Belt."
Unlike traditional methods that rely on arbitrary tests and vague experience requirements, ISSISSIPPI guarantees a fair and consistent evaluation process—if you complete the activity book, you're certified. But the innovation doesn't stop there.
The WonderFun Activity Book also features an Innovation Index Self-Test, allowing candidates to assess their own marvelousity without the risk of rejection or awkward interviews.
This is just the beginning. We hope to keep releasing even more spectacular certification solutions as soon as we figure out if this 'free book, expensive crayon' model actually works for us.
— Zoltan Minsky, ISSISSIPPI President
Lean Six Sigma thought leaders have voiced nothing but enthusiastic support (or at least, they haven't actively stopped us). "Organizations are very concerned about the reliability of credentials," stated Bill Hathaway, President of MoreSteam.com, the leading provider of online Lean Six Sigma training. "We believe ISSISSIPPI's self-certification model represents a faster, better, and cheaper path to ad hoc certification. Finally, we have a way to identify the true pretendicon."
This groundbreaking (but non-rigorous) certification process is now available at no cost to all Lean Six Sigma Black Belt candidates.
